The FIA World Motorsport Council now officially confirms the weekend of April 28-30, 2023. The race now counts towards the FIA European Hill Climb Championship, the Austrian Hill Climb State Championship, and also the Slovenian and Slovakian Hill Climb Championships.

The annual meeting of the World Motorsport Council took place this time on 07 December in Bologna. But it’s not just in the virtual world that things are moving forward; preparations for track construction are also in full swing. Newly acquired concrete guide walls have already been painted in the Austrian national colors of red-white-red in order to visually represent the name “Grand Mountain Prize of Austria” accordingly. The ultimate hill climb on the Rechberg will be held from April 28 to 30, 2023, as a run for the

FIA European Hillclimb Championship will be held. In addition, there will be other predicates, such as the Austrian Mountain Championship, as well as the Slovenian and Slovakian Championships.
