Mario Klammer, Peter Eibisberger, and Christian Ferstl<\/strong> were all in a relaxed mood that evening \u2014 preparations for both classic events are going very well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are right on schedule, and even ahead in some areas. The experiences from last year have helped us tremendously. Many tasks, purchases, and discussions have already been completed, and now we\u2019re moving on to fine-tuning,\u201d the trio explains in unison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut we wanted to take the opportunity to thank our strong partners in advance and give them an insight into the preparations,\u201d says Peter Eibisberger, who, together with Mario Klammer, is responsible for the sporting and event-related aspects.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

And Mario Klammer adds:
\u201cWithout our long-standing partners and sponsors, it would simply be impossible to organize two such fantastic motorsport events in the district. That\u2019s why we use this gathering as an opportunity to get to know each other even better and to further strengthen our existing network. Over time, true friendships have developed with our partners.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christian Ferstl confirms this as well:
\u201cMany mutual business collaborations show that we are on a very good path to continue having strong and loyal partners by our side for both events. Without their fantastic support, neither the Rechbergrennen nor the Rallye Weiz would be possible. So, a big thank you from me as well!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mayors and sponsors also had only praise to share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, Peter Greiter (Knill Group \u2013 main sponsor of the Rallye Weiz) said:
\u201cIt perfectly matches our company culture: innovation, progress, and forward-thinking are deeply embedded in our philosophy. We are also planning a sustainability project that will serve as a beacon for other events.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ewald M\u00fcnzer (M\u00fcnzer Bio-Industrie) and Roland Pfeifenberger (Suzuki Austria) echoed this sentiment:
\u201cWe\u2019ve also been part of this for many years, and with great enthusiasm, because there\u2019s so much passion and commitment here \u2014 values that we also live by in our companies!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nina Darnhofer from the Erlebnisregion Oststeiermark added:
\u201cThe enormous popularity of the Rechbergrennen and the Rallye Weiz brings large numbers of fans from many European countries to our region year after year. They generate revenue through overnight stays, shopping, and more \u2014 and they love our hospitality, which is repeatedly confirmed to us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mayors of all the municipalities hosting these two events are also very optimistic that both internationally renowned motorsport classics will continue to have their place in beautiful Eastern Styria in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of a youth development project for the talented Luca Schlegl (2024 Kart National Champion from Schrems near Frohnleiten). The evening also featured many lively conversations about motorsport with drivers such as Felix Pailer, Hermann Neubauer, Kevin Raith, and Andreas H\u00f6fler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A raffle, where participants had the chance to win a passenger ride in the Porsche 911 GT3 R with Leo Pichler (ADAC GT Masters driver from Weiz), along with exquisite culinary delights provided by Mensch Mayer, rounded off this successful evening with sponsors.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Fans can experience the legendary hill climb classic at the Rechberg on the weekend of April 25\u201327, 2025. Tickets for the race weekend can already be ordered via the official website: www.rechbergrennen.co.at<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ultimate rally feeling awaits fans in the summer \u2014 the Rallye Weiz will take place from July 17\u201319, 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

All kinds of information \u2014 continuously updated \u2014 can be found on the official websites www.rechbergrennen.co.at<\/a> and www.rallye-weiz.at<\/a>, as well as on our social media channels on Facebook and Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of the detailed sustainability analysis of the 2023 event, a tree seedling distribution campaign was carried out in March 2024 together with the municipalities of Fladnitz an der Teichalm and Semriach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this campaign, 1,000 tree seedlings were distributed to residents along the Rechberg main road. These trees will sustainably offset the greenhouse gas emissions produced by the race cars during the event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
